Big A and the Allstars are an internationally touring blues band led by singer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist Anthony “Big A” Sherrod. Hailing from Clarksdale, Mississippi, Sherrod—a godson of blues legend Big Jack Johnson—is a torchbearer of the Clarksdale Blues. Big A began playing guitar at the age of five (5) under the teaching of blues legend, Johnnie Billington. Big A and the Allstars has toured in the U.S. and internationally. Big A and the Allstars will be touring this year as part of the Morgan Freeman Blues Symphonic Experience.
